The thermal decomposition temperature of PA12 is over 350°C,  and the long term use-temperature is 80-90°C. PA12 film’s air tight propertys are very good, and its water vapor transmission-rate is 9g/m2.

PA12 film is transparent, non-toxic, and has low transmission of water vapor and gas (O2, N2, CO2). Its performance does not change even storing it in boiling water for one year. It can be used to produce films and sheets of   food’s protective packaging, which has great advantages of keeping food fresh, resistance of steam sterilization and low-temperature properties make it ideal for food packaging material. Nylon 12 has good adhesion with metal. When it is used for bonding food, its sealing value rate can reach 100% and the peeling strength is high.
