Polyether ether ketone (English poly-ether ether ketone, referred to as PEEK) is a polymer consisting of one ketone bond and two ether bond repeating units in the main chain structure, and is a special polymer material. It has excellent physical and chemical properties such as high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and is a kind of semi-crystalline polymer material.
In 2020, in order to fill the gap of domestic high-end special engineering plastic film and solve the situation of related industries being jammed by foreign countries,
we will increase investment and introduce the first domestic PEEK film production line from abroad, specializing in the research and development and manufacturing
of special high temperature engineering plastic film. The production line will be officially put into operation in July 2021.
PEEK film is a kind of semi-crystalline, high-performance special film made of PEEK polymer. PEEK film has the characteristics of high temperature resistance,
light weight, excellent mechanical properties and durability, excellent radiation resistance, hydrolysis resistance, chemical resistance, excellent electrical insulation
and wear resistance, good barrier properties and flame retardant properties, low toxicity of combustion products, low water absorption, halogen-free and good
processing properties.
First, the specific physical properties of PEEK film
(1) Heat resistance: high temperature thermoplastic film, melting point 343 ℃, UL approved long-term use temperature of 260 ℃.
(2) Excellent electrical and insulation properties: it still has excellent insulation and stable electrical properties in high temperature, high pressure, high frequency,
high humidity and other environments.
(3) Flexibility: At present, it is among the best in the high temperature resistant film products on the market, better than polyimide and polyphenylene sulfide film.
(4) Solvent resistance: insoluble in most acid and base solvents.
(5) Hydrolysis resistance: it can be used for a long time under 200℃ water vapor.
(6) Radiation resistance: excellent resistance to all kinds of radiation, can withstand high doses of gamma rays and maintain physical properties unchanged.
(7) Dimensional stability: with very low water absorption and linear thermal expansion coefficient
(8) Wear resistance: TaberH10 wheel wear 0.00027.
(9) Flame retardant: a certain thickness of PEEK film has self-flame retardant, low smoke and non-toxic combustion products.
